Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Cozzens joined Telogis from Novell Corporation where he served as the vice president of operations for Novell Americas, a $500 million business encompassing the U.S., Canada and Latin America. Prior to this role, he held a number of senior executive positions at Novell including area vice president and general manager for the Midwest and Federal businesses as well as the vice president of North America Consulting. Mr. Cozzens was also vice president of consulting at Cambridge Technology Partners (CTP) prior to that company's acquisition by Novell. Mr. Cozzens also launched and led CTP's Strategy Management Consulting practices in the U.S. and Europe.
Mr. Cozzens earned a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from the University of Tennessee and a Master of Business Administration in international business from the Vienna School of Economics (Wirtschaftsuniversität Wien)/University of South Carolina.
Chief Client Success Officer
Mr. Taylor has extensive experience in senior leadership positions with start-up and fast-growth companies on an international scale. As founder and CEO of Tycom Corporation (now Kyocera Tycom Corp.), CEO of Tycom Dental Inc. (now SybronEndo Corporation, a division of Sybron Dental Specialties) and CEO of Tulon Inc., Mr. Taylor has a track record of successful product development and company leadership in a variety of markets. Prior to joining the team at Telogis, he had been the director of Liquidmetal Saga Italy, a technology start-up company in the Veneto region of Italy aimed at the European luxury goods market.
Mr. Taylor earned a Bachelor of Arts in Russian Language and a Bachelor of Science in business administration from the University of Southern California.
Chief Technology Officer and Co-founder
Mr. Mason has deep expertise in professional software development, comprehensive systems analysis and design experience. His broad experience also includes dataset real-time databases, networking, large-scale system deployment and data integrity validation. Key project experience includes the development and implementation of a data warehouse for the London International Financial Futures Exchange. He also held the position of senior project engineer with South Pacific Engineering Design Associates (SPEDA) in embedded systems development.
Mr. Mason graduated from the business computing program at from Christchurch Technical College.
A. Newth Morris IV
President, Telogis Route & Telogis Navigation, Co-founder
Mr. Morris brings a background in embedded systems design, systems engineering and enterprise sales to his role at Telogis. His past experience includes work for the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association (NRECA), a non-governmental organization managing socio-economic studies of rural indigenous communities in Guatemala. His early years in product development and systems engineering began with Electronic Design Associates (EDA) in Costa Mesa, Calif., a sister company to the South Pacific Engineering Design Associates (SPEDA) in product development. His work experience also includes systems design and project management.
He is currently a member of the Young Presidents' Organization (YPO) and was named one of Orange County's 40-Under-40 by the Orange County Register along with Telogis co-founder, Jason Koch.
Mr. Morris earned a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering from the Colorado School of Mines, and recently completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School.
President, Telogis Fleet, Co-founder
Under Mr. Koch's leadership, Telogis launched its flagship Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) application, Telogis Fleet in 2001. Since then, Telogis has consistently upgraded and expanded its product portfolio to become one of the fastest-growing providers in enterprise location-based software. Mr. Koch speaks frequently at industry events, providing thought leadership with a combined engineering and business perspective. He was also named one of Orange County's 40-Under-40 by the Orange County Register along with Telogis co-founder, A. Newth Morris IV.
Prior to co-founding Telogis, Mr. Koch held engineering positions at Motorola and Texas Instruments in the semiconductor industry.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering from the Colorado School of Mines.
Executive Vice President, Worldwide Sales
With more than 25 years in enterprise software leadership roles, Ms. Heystee oversees Telogis' global sales, OEM business units and strategic alliances. She joined Telogis in 2010 from Novell, where she served as vice president and general manager of global strategic alliances. Ms. Heystee was also president of Novell Americas and vice president and area general manager for the Midwest region. Prior to joining Novell, Ms. Heystee was the executive vice president of worldwide sales and delivery at Baan, prior to its acquisition by SSA Global. She also spent more than a decade as a sales director helping to pioneer advancements and innovations in enterprise software at Software AG.
Ms. Heystee graduated with honors from the University of Waterloo, earning a degree in mathematics with business administration.
Chief Operating Officer
Mr. Serentelos joined Telogis from Novell Corporation where he served as the director of Identity and Security Management business unit. Prior to Novell, he held a number of consulting roles as a principal with Novell Consulting, the strategy practice at Cambridge Technology Partners and as a manager with Cambridge Management Consulting. Previously, Mr. Serentelos gained extensive experience in various supply chain, logistics and trading roles with Amoco Corporation and British Petroleum.
Mr. Serentelos earned a Master of Business Administration with honors from the Booth School of Business at the University of Chicago in strategic and financial management and a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from Purdue University.
Senior Vice President, Worldwide Services
Mr. Belden brings deep and broad-ranging experience leading enterprise-class service organizations to Telogis from his time at Novell, Cambridge Technology Partners and Ramos & Associates. Over the past 20 years, he has driven business strategy and process engineering, program/project management, enterprise systems implementation and integration, customer training and support within Fortune 500 and Global 2000 companies. In addition, he has successfully advised early-stage companies in strategies and tactics to scale.
Mr. Belden earned a Bachelor of Science in speech communications and Bachelor of Science in psychology from the University of Denver and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Colorado, Denver in organization and information management.
Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Messman focuses on finance, financial planning, strategy and strategic acquisition opportunities for Telogis. Prior to joining the Telogis team, Mr. Messman worked in the corporate financial planning group at a major semiconductor manufacturer where his responsibilities included SEC and financial reporting, capital transactions and financial planning and analysis. Prior to this, Mr. Messman spent several years as an investment banker with the Global Technology Investment Banking division of Salomon Smith Barney (Citigroup). At Cappello Capital he focused on mergers and financings in the technology services, software and entertainment sectors and worked with clients on a wide variety of corporate finance and capital markets transactions. Previously, he worked in venture capital focusing on infrastructure software and service investments.
Mr. Messman earned a Bachelor of Science in economics from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a Master of Business Administration in finance from the Graziadio School of Business at Pepperdine University.
Senior Vice President, Corporate Strategy
Mr. Hallgren brings nearly two decades of senior executive experience in technology, telematics and fleet management to Telogis. Mr. Hallgren last served as CEO of Remote Dynamics, where he led a turnaround and positioned the company as a leading telematics supplier to the construction industry. Earlier in his career, he served as vice president of operations for Volvo Technology of America, which provided telematics solutions for Volvo cars, trucks and marine products. He was later named president and CEO of WirelessCar North America, Inc., a joint venture of Volvo, Ericsson and Brainheart Capital, which provided telematics services to the fleet management and OEM industries until it was acquired.
Mr. Hallgren earned his Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from the University of Minnesota, Institute of Technology.
