Telogis Earns Honors at the 2013 Stevie Awards for Sales & Customer Service
Telogis’ customer service team was recognized for their innovative response to customers during Hurricane Sandy
LAS VEGAS — Feb. 26, 2013 — Telogis' customer service team was honored in the “Innovation in Customer Service — Computer Services & Software” category at the seventh annual Stevie® Awards for Sales & Customer Service last night for its outstanding, innovative response to customers who were affected by Hurricane Sandy in November 2012. Telogis provides a cloud-based location intelligence platform for companies that require dynamic routing, real-time work order management, navigation, telematics and mobile integration services for their mobile workforces.
In preparation for the hurricane, Telogis representatives helped customers plan the movement of key mobile assets including long-haul trucks, service vehicles, delivery trucks and other vehicles out of harm's way. Telogis helped to re-route assets — particularly the movement of high-profile vehicles — to protect drivers and cargo from high winds, water and flying debris.
When Hurricane Sandy hit, the Telogis team provided mission-critical information in real time on road closures — including hourly updates — to better serve customers. In the storm's wake, Telogis representatives worked with response-oriented customers including utility and vegetation-clearing companies to navigate them back into areas that were most severely affected to quickly restore heat and electricity — saving time, energy and in some cases, lives.
